Pelagic Tribe Parts Lookup ("the app") is an internal tool used by Pelagic Tribe's team and authorized dealers to search Shimano spare part codes and generate pricing quotes. This page explains what information the app collects and how it is used.
When you sign in with Google, the app receives your name and email address from Google, solely to verify whether your account has been authorized to use the tool and which access level (team or dealer) you've been granted. We do not request access to your contacts, files, calendar, or any other Google data beyond your basic profile and email address.
Your email address is checked against a list of authorized users maintained by Pelagic Tribe. If authorized, a session is created so you can use the tool without signing in again on every visit. Your name and email, along with your last sign-in time, are stored so the administrator can manage who has access.
We do not sell, share, or use your information for advertising. We do not access any Google data beyond your name and email. Information you look up in the tool (part codes, pricing) is not linked to your identity beyond the fact that you were signed in at the time.
Your account record is kept for as long as you're an authorized user of the tool. Pelagic Tribe can remove your access and delete your record at any time via the admin panel.
